
Antonio Starčević
Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia
Antonio Starčević obtained his PhD at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany in 2009.
In 2010 Antonio together with close colleagues started a bioinformatics spin-off company SemGen Ltd. dedicated primarily to life science R&D and focused on EU projects.
Currently he holds the position of Associate professor at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb (FFTB – UNIZAG) where he teaches several bioinformatics related courses for graduate and post-graduate students.
Antonio is actively participating in various research projects, both as principal investigator and as a partner. He is continuously mentoring PhD students.

Changes due to COVID-19

Given the current uncertainty of the expected situation in the upcoming months, guided by the health care of both our participants and organizers, the Organising Committee has determined new provisional dates for the event in the year 2021.
Previously scheduled for September 8-11, 2020 it will now take place September 14-17, 2021.
