
Nikolina Udiković Kolić

Nikolina Udiković Kolić is a biotechnologist working as a Senior Research Associate and Head of the Lab for Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, Croatia.
She received her PhD in Molecular Biotechnology at the University of Zagreb for research on microbial communities capable of degrading s-triazine herbicides.
During her postdoctoral study at the Yale University, USA, she extended her research interests to antibiotic resistance in the environment impacted by intensive agricultural practices.
During the last 5 years, her research group focused on questions addressing the role of pharmaceutical wastewaters in the development and spread of antibiotic resistance in the receiving aquatic environment.
Since 2013 dr. Udikovic Kolic is teacher in doctoral study programmes at the University of Osijek and University of Zagreb (Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology).

Changes due to COVID-19

Given the current uncertainty of the expected situation in the upcoming months, guided by the health care of both our participants and organizers, the Organising Committee has determined new provisional dates for the event in the year 2021.
Previously scheduled for September 8-11, 2020 it will now take place September 14-17, 2021.
