The round table was held on Thursday, September 20th, 2018 in Sveti Martin na Muri, within the programme of the 6th Central European Symposium on Antimicrobials and Antimicrobial Resistance, <a href=\"http:\/\/hmd-cms.hr\/cesar2018\/\">CESAR 2018<\/a><!-- Link na cesar web -->. This scientific meeting, organized by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hmd-cms.hr\/\">Croatian Microbiological Society<\/a><!-- Link na hmd web -->, traditionally brings together experts in the field of antimicrobial resistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"hr-HR\">The moderator of the round table was Dijana \u0160kori\u0107, coordinator of the project &#8220;In the Society of Microbes&#8221;, and members of the project team members presented the project. Asst. Prof. Ana Bielen (Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb) had a talk entitled &#8220;Service learning and project from the perspective of a university teacher&#8221;, Marija Vuk (Association of Biology Students &#8211; BIUS) \u201eService learning from the student&#8217;s perspective\u201c, Kristina Duvnjak (Association BIOTEKA) &#8220;Roles of NGOs in service learning projects&#8221;. Additional presentation was held by Assoc. Prof. Martina \u0110uras (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb), for the project &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.argonauta.hr\/plavi-projekt\/\">Blue Project<\/a><\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Contribution to the service learning development at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb.&#8221; The round table ended in lively discussion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project &#8220;In the Society of Microbes&#8221;, as well as the concept of service learning, was presented at the round table &#8220;Service Learning in Microbiology&#8221;.
