After 22 months of various and intensive activities, the service learning project „In the society of microbes“ has ended on January 18, 2020. The representatives of students (Ivana Čakarić, Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb), their mentors (Associate Professor Ivana Gobin, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka), volunteers (Marija Vuk, a student of the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb and the volunteer of the Association of Biology Students – BIUS) and the project leader Professor Dijana Škorić presented their experiences and shared their impressions on the project.

The aim is to contribute to the introduction, development, improvement and sustainability of service learning, as a part of the academical learning.
