Jurica Žučko

Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, Croatia

Jurica Žučko studied biochemical engineering at Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb.

Later pursued PhD studies at Laboratory for Genetics, Technical University Kaiserslautern working on in silico analyses of polyketide synthases.

After finishing PhD he returned to Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology and is working mostly on analysis of environmental samples – metagenomic studies and bioprospecting.

Currently is working on projects of Research center of Excellence for bioprospecting of Adriatic sea and Croatia Science Foundation.
