Excursion and Symposium Dinner

The excursion with dinner will be organized on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and should be paid in advance. The excursion includes a visit to the picturesque medieval town of Motovun with a local guide. Motovun is the best preserved medieval fortress in Istria, located on the top of a steep hill, after which it was named Montona – “town on the hill”. In Motovun there are 26 protected cultural monuments, which is why this medieval town is on the list UNESCO World Heritage Access List. After the sightseeing, a conference dinner will be organized in the tavern Jadruhi, being one of the most prestigious and well-known agrotourism in Istria.

On-site Registration and Payment

Please note that on-site registration and payment (late registration fees are applicable) will be possible at the registration desk only in cash. No credit cards or foreign currency will be accepted.

Cancellation Refund Policy

Refund of the registration fee minus 50 Euros for administration costs will be granted if notification of cancellation reaches the Symposium Secretariat in writing (andreja.lebos.pavunc@pbf.unizg.hr) before April 14th, 2023. After this date, cancellations will not be refunded. Refunds by bank transfer will be processed after the symposium.

Force majeure

In case of force majeure (defined as any event or circumstance that is clearly outside the control of Congress organizers; such as, but not limited to, war, strike, terrorism or threat of terrorism,  epidemics or outbreaks, fire and other “acts of God”), the Congress organisers have the right to alter or cancel the Congress without previous notice. The organisers shall not be liable for any damages and losses or any other participants, sponsors and supporters inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the Congress.
