Neža Čadež is an assistant professor of microbiology and curator of the Collection of Industrial Microorganisms at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Her research interests include yeast diversity in traditional foods and natural environments from the perspective of evolutionary genomics. She is interested in adaptive experimental evolution of Saccharomyces yeasts on different substrates for selection of new genetic variants for novel brews.
