Hotel Park Plaza Histria
The symposium will take place at the Hotel Park Plaza Histria, located on the wooded Punta Verudela peninsula on the southern edge of Pula. Overlooking the Adriatic Sea and surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, the hotel provides an attractive setting for both the scientific programme and informal socialising during the symposium.
The hotel is only a few kilometres from the historic centre of Pula, one of Croatia’s most distinctive historic cities, allowing participants to easily combine the symposium with visits to the city’s Roman monuments and other cultural attractions. From the hotel, guests can also enjoy direct access to the coastal environment of the Verudela peninsula.
Conference facilities
Park Plaza Histria is an established congress venue with facilities suitable for both large scientific meetings and smaller workshops. The hotel features a large congress hall with a capacity of up to 700 participants, together with four smaller meeting rooms accommodating between 30 and 100 participants. The meeting facilities are air-conditioned and equipped with modern audiovisual technology, including the possibility of simultaneous interpretation.
The main congress hall, Ulika, covers 468 m² and can accommodate up to 700 participants in theatre-style seating. The additional meeting rooms provide flexible spaces for smaller sessions, meetings and workshops.
Accommodation and leisure
Participants will have the option of staying at the symposium venue itself, providing the convenience of accommodation and all scientific and social activities in one location.
The hotel offers a range of leisure facilities, including two seawater swimming pools, a wellness centre with gym and saunas, Wi-Fi, beach access and free parking. The nearby coast and recreational facilities of Punta Verudela provide opportunities to relax and enjoy the Adriatic outside the symposium programme.
