National costumes “biodiversity”

You probably know that no two people are exactly alike concerning its microbiome fingerprint…But did you know that your ethnicity determines the species of bacteria that resides within your body, and that, by counting varieties of these bacteria, microbiologist can guess a person’s ethnicity with an accuracy significantly better than a chance?

But can we also guess your ethnicity by your national costume? We invite you (if it fits to you, and if it is possible) to wear your national costume, or some specific detail of your national costume, at the symposium welcome reception so we can learn not only about the biodiversity of microbial life but also about the “biodiversity” that can be found around the world within different, beautiful traditional national costumes.
